And the Winners Are…

I sure hope today’s newsletter finds you doing well and enjoying the last days of March. I’m busy preparing for the upcoming writing conference season and have entered my manuscript, Trapped, in several high-profile contests. Of course, I’ll keep you updated along the way, and I’m still hoping to have my current book published later this year.
Today, we have a lot to cover, so let’s get started with something fun!

We have two winners! To get all of us thinking about our summer reading list, I held a Beach Read Giveaway in our last newsletter and two winners were selected. Are you one of them?
Congratulations to Patrica H. and Karen H. They have both won a copy of Kaleidoscope of Secrets and a set of magnetic bookmarks. I’m still waiting to hear from Patricia. If this might be you, check your email.
I will host another giveaway in the near future, so stay tuned for your chance to win.

You might remember that in my last newsletter, I shared ideas on what to read and recommended returning to THE CLASSICS. Many of you gave me great feedback on your favorites. Thank you! As a result, I’ve created a reading bucket list. The first list overviews the Classics, the second focuses on current fiction, and a third will cover non-fiction. I’ll share one list in each of the upcoming newsletters.
With that said, I still want you to weigh in on what should be on the list. So, reply to this email with your comments and suggestions. What book or books must be on these lists and why?

TRAVEL
For many of you, last week was spring break. I headed out for some adventures and enjoyed time at Crown Center and Legoland in Kansas City, Missouri. The weather didn’t want to cooperate, but we stayed indoors and had a blast. There are museums and interactive attractions in many cities. I encourage you to see what your city offers.
Let me know about your adventures and send a photo. We’ll try to include it in an upcoming newsletter.
Can’t get out? Then read! Dr. Seuss said it best. “Books can take you places you have never been before.” Dr. Seuss.

Remember to take time to enjoy the company of others, get outside and enjoy nature, and of course, read, because reading is always time well spent.
My recommendation? Kaleidoscope of Secrets.
One last reminder: if you are enjoying the newsletter, share it with a friend and ask them to sign up at sandyclements.com. THANK YOU!!!
